Something Short!

Here's something short but thought provoking. While at work today I got a thinking. Which is dangerous sometimes. Well here's my thought. America is taking Christ out of Christmas. Sinners are not complaining about it. You can barely hear the Christians complaining about it. Now today is Halloween. If you go back in history it's pretty much the devil's day to say the least. You don't here people complain about this day. They don't call this day a holiday but Halloween. Even though this day offends many. The government doesn't say that it's no longer Halloween, but a holiday. That was the governments answer why they are taking Christ out of Christmas, because it offends other people's beliefs. So why don't they do something about Halloween. Well it's because most Christians are out there on the streets with the rest. There dressed up in there costumes blending in with the rest. What happen to Christians not being part of the world. What would you do if the raptured happened when you were trick or treating. Standing in front of God in you silly little costume. I don't think so. My kids will never dress up for school. They will never celebrate this so called day. I do think it's great that church's put something on. But at the same time even though they don't celebrate Halloween are they not celebrating it. Let me say it this way. If there was no such day as Halloween would the church's have a celebration day. Just a thought. It's time for us to get real with what God wants. It's time for us to stand out from the world. Tell your kids the real reason why they can't trick or treat. Tell them who Santa Claus really was. Let them know the real reason why we celebrate Christmas and not Halloween. God Bless.
