Is it Friday YET!!!!
What a week this has been. My dad had heart surgery on Tuesday. The Dr. Went in and burned some of his heart to keep it from going out of rhythm. Well when the Dr. Came out of surgery he said that my dad had some bleeding in his heart. A common man would think. Ok he said some bleeding. Must not be to much. Since he said some. Well it ended up that he bled 500ml. Which is equaled out to the same amount if you had given blood at the blood bank. So it was more than some in my mind. Well an hour later the Dr. Came out and said that he was really happy because the blood had stopped dripping. So they moved him into the room. The funny thing was that my dad is pretty funny when coming out of the anesthesia. My step-mom and me just couldn't stop laughing. It's the best medicine. They kept him over night and were going to let him go on Wed. Well he woke up with a sore chest. So they decided to keep him one more day. Then about 830pm his heart went out of rhythm. They said if it doesn't go back in that they would have to shock it. It's the same kind of shocker that they use when they revive someone from a heart attack. They pretty much would kill him and bring him back to life. Well we stood against that one. His heart went back in about midnight. Well he awoke today without a problem so they sent him home this afternoon. Times like this a persons faith is sure tested. I give God all the glory in this hole ordeal. You see if his heart bled. You might say that's nothing big. Well the Dr. Said that there was a bubble in his heart. That bubble could have burst at any time. It chose to do it then so they could take care of the problem then. Also I believe that his chest hurt for a reason. Because of that he stayed in the hospital a extra day. He was able to have immediate medical attention when his heart went out. If he was at home he would have to go to the ER and wait. Everyone knows how long that would take. God does know best. I know my dad's heart is perfect in everyway. Just looking at everything that happened God was always in control. Even though is was nerve racking for us. God was calm. That's why we need to trust fully in God's grace and love. He knows all things. We can't be in control because when we are in control then we are not in control. Our flesh can not do anything. But God can do all things. Keep you faith strong in Gods word. Even though the circumstances don't look that great. God is in control. Whatever happens God's glory will be shown. One more thing. On Wed nite at our service. We had a guest speaker from El Savador. She was totally awesome. She talked about the tabernacle. About how we are the tabernacle. We have a body, spirit, and soul. The thing that stuck in me. Just like in the old testament when they walked into the tabernacle they would have to give a sacrifice. See when we get saved we have just walked into the tabernacle. The thing is most Christians stop there. They never reach the Holy of Holies. They get comfortable. That don't really want to sacrifice there hole life. We need to start to get real with God. God needs to be and should be the focus of our lives. We need to serve him in all things. Our thoughts, ambitions, desires, gifts, all of us. Everything that you can think. We need to give it all to Him. We need to be dead in the flesh because that is gain to be closer to God. So the next time your with your friends, or at work, or even watching TV. Remember Jesus lives inside you. He hears, sees, and remembers everything that you do. Remember we don't know when Jesus is returning so why do we act like He's never going to come? We need to act like He's coming this very hour. We need to be feeding our bodies with God's word and wisdom. Instead of fleshly things. Things that pollute our minds and bodies. How can God grow if we are feeding our bodies with the wrong things. Let's start giving God all the glory and praise for which He deserves.
