Good Bye for now.

Well this is the last day. Kind of a weird feeling. Leaving a job to go to another. It's all in God's hands. Well it's been a joy writing to all of you these last few years. Hopefully down the road here the Internet people figure out that they need to give us Internet possibilities at our house. Well everyone be blessed and I'll talk at you later. Chow RJ

The end is near!!!

I've always had a work mentality in my life to do 110%. Every job I worked at I gave it my best. I always left with good terms even though I new I would never go back. I always believed by doing so. I'm leaving my name in good standards and I'm leaving a Godly example. Well strange things have happened this last few months. Some might know this some might not. I had left my pastoring job over a month ago. After God dealing with me in that situation for a very long time. So eventually I decided to do what He wanted me to do. It wasn't easy at all. Now most people might think that because God tells you to do something that it's going to be a wonderful thing. Well it's not always going to be that way. For me I think it was different because well I battled with God so long that certain doors had closed. So He would have to start opening them back up. These last few months have been rough ones. I mean rough. Not know how the bills are going to be getting paid. Not even being able to by a hole bunch of presents for Jacob for his B-day. That will kill a parents heart right there. I knew that I was still in God's plan. So I kept on pressing onward. I just kept telling myself that I don't look at what's around me, but I look at what God is taking me. I know that God is going to supply everything I need. One way or another. Well this last Friday I got a call from my old boss at the city bus service. He stated that He wanted me to come back and work with him. He stated that most of the drivers they are hiring now are worthless. That just don't want to work he said. He said that he would be able to start me out at the highest of the bottom person. That I would be full time and making all the good benefits. He said he had a few opening a few months back and he said he had thought about calling me then, but never got to it. Interesting isn't it. So I have excepted the job there. The pay is a little bit more than here and the benefits are unbelievable. Not sure what else is in store. I fill that my wife has a better job coming. That way we won't have to worry about the finances anymore. The thing is. Things that you do in the past do come back. If I would have been a worthless employee. He would never would have wanted to hire me back. If I would have listened to God when He told me to leave. Well I believe that I wouldn't be in the mess that I've been in. All I know is the more I seek after God the more His promises come forth. I know through this hole ordeal that my faith in this area is going to be rock hard. God is great all the time. So I do have some bad news though. When I leave this job on the 26th of Oct. I will no longer have the Internet. So I will no longer be able to blog. So these next few weeks are the last for a while. It's been a joy writing over these last few years. I know that God has special things in stored for all of you. I will miss writing to you all greatly. God Bless you all. Rev. Josh

Blind Girl Story

Someone sent me this email about a blind girl. Here it is .

There was a blind girl who hater herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, "If I could only see the world, I would marry you." One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, "Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: "Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine."

I'm not sure if this is true or fake. The thing is it makes a person think. How often do we tell God how awful our life is. Then He gives us what we wanted. A day later we forget who gave it to us or we are just as unthankfull as the girl. Or how many times we've complained about something when a 100 or more people would just like to have what we have. The truth is. Nothing here on earth is ever going to make you happy. Getting married, money, expensive toys, or even the perfect job will never make you totally happy. The only person that can make you happy is God Himself. God is love, and God is happiness. Some people say if I had a million dollars I would be happy. Look at how many millionaires that are unhappy. Look how they try to find happiness. By going out a parting or doing whatever else there is. See the things on earth will never make you happy forever. Why you might ask? It's because the only things that are going to make you happy are the things that you can take with you when you die and go to heaven. that pretty much eliminates all worldly possessions. Whatever is inside your spirit will make you happy. Those things are the word of God and His promises to you. Don't look what you don't have. Look at what you do have. You have Jesus living inside of you. It just can't get any better than that.

How times change

Well it's another week of grinding work. This last week I was able to help my dear friend Tom on his beef farm. Man was it enjoyable. It was enjoyable for us at least. We were banding the bull calves, and giving shots to all the calves. I believe we did 45 bulls out of I think 100 calves. Which didn't take to long this year. We started a little after 800am and got done around1130am. While we where getting the claves throught the chute and Tom and company were doing the banding. I was wondering how the old farmers must have done this. I mean the old rope and pull down way. It probably took them a week or more to do what we did in a couple of hours. See God never stops evolving our thoughts or our ideas. Which is a good thing. I would hate to go to work on a horse everyday. Just think if our most favorite inventors never did what God put in there heads to do. We wouldn't have planes, cars, computers, or even TV's. That would hurt some of you right there. The thing is. When you get an idea how to change something or to make something. Just do it. You could be changing the future. God gave you the idea because He knows you can do it. Otherwise He wouldn't give it to you at all. So right down those ideas and ask God how to get started on them. That idea might set you financially for life. God does want us to bless those all around and also our kids you know

Are you LOVE'N it?

Have you ever just stop to think how much God really loves you. I mean He sent His only Son to die for us. He knew that His Son would have to endure great pain and suffering. Just think we have right now over 6 billion people here one earth. Jesus took on all 6 billion people sins at one time. Not only the ones alive now. Also the ones that have died and the ones yet to be born. That is a lot. Not only that when Jesus was tempted He had to be tempted of all things that we get tempted on. All those temptations happened in just 40 day. Now that's crazy. To think that Jesus was hit, spit upon, whipped, nailed, thorns on his head, and cursed at. All he had to say to His Father was "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Man if that isn't love I don't know what is. See Jesus reflects God in every way. So if Jesus is full of love and compassion then our Heavenly Father is to. So if God loves us so much can't we love Him back. I mean every time you do something wrong. He's there to love on you. Whens the last time someone did something wrong to you and you just loved on them back. Our first response is anger. Then comes offense and gossip or even a fight. Over what? Pretty much nothing. Now just imagine how much you could have accomplished if you just showed love back. Ever been to a restaurant were the waitress or waiter was really grumpy or mad. You know the ones that never refilled your soda or you just never saw until you were done when they handed you the bill. How did you reward them. By giving them no tip or just a real small one. How would you like it. If your work would rate you on your happiness every time you came into work. How many of us would get a small check for the week. A person told me once a story about a waitress. This person had one of the bad ones one day. Said that she never refilled there sodas after they asked her to and there food came cold. She gave them short answers and was a little rude to them. When it came to pay for there meal he gave her a 20.00 tip. When she saw this she asked him why is he so generous. She says that she knows that she wasn't really friendly to them. She went on to say that her 2 year old son was just diagnosed with cancer. She said that she didn't know what she was going to do. She was a single mom that didn't make much. Well this man was a pretty well off business man who helped her and her son get the right treatments. Well it had a good ending right. Well what would have happened if he treated her like the rest. You never know what the person is going through. If a co-worker just yells at you for no reason. You don't know what they're going through. That's why Jesus said love your neighbor like you do yourself. Why did He say this. Because He knew that we like to treat ourselves with respect. We also need to treat others with this same love. Some day you might be able to help someone like this other gentleman. If you don't get mad that is. Also what kind of a Godly influence are you making when you act like the rest of the world. God said to love everyone. He didn't say it's all right to get mad at them from time to time. Didn't He say you have to forgive them 70x7. That's just one days worth. So let's just remember how much God loves us and let's show that same kind of love to everyone else.

Your future is GOOD!!

Ever wonder how your future is going to be like? Are going to be successfully? Are have lots of money? The truth is that you are already successful. You already have more than enough. When you do what God tells you to do. He's going to bless you hundred times over. The thing is that you have to be doing what He wants you to do. Not you doing what you want to do. Even though when you are doing what God wants you to do. It won't always be a party. The good thing is that He will give you the answers to past through any mountains. Most of us when facing a mountain like to go around it. When we do that life gets harder and harder and harder. Then we decide after all the hardship we need to ask God to help us. The thing is that He is always there ready to help. Just like a Father would. It's hard for most people to ask for help. It's that pride thing. Which is pretty sad to think about that. God is holding the key that you need to get through your situation and you're to prideful to ask for help. Because you think you can do it yourself. We've all been there done that. Then after going through a hard time and making it over mountain. We say man next time I'm going to God first thing. Then what happens. We hit another mountain and we try to do it ourselves again. We have to change our ways. We have to give those things that belong to God right away. It might not be all ways easy to do. But it's a must. It might take time for some or it might be quick for others. It's kind of like a baby that soiled the diaper. The baby keeps soiling the diaper knowing that it doesn't really like it. Day after day it soiled it's diaper until one day it realizes that it doesn't have to anymore. There's a thing called a toilet that it can use. For some of us it might take us day after day after day of reminding one self about giving it to God. Then one day a problem is going to arise and pow. You are going to give it over to God without thinking about it. Don't get discouraged if you find your self taking things on yourself that you were supposed to give to God. When you realize the mistake give it to Him then and there. He's going to meet you were ever you are at. That's what Fathers are for. Also remember never pick up that hardship again. Just like a baby. Babies don't go back to diapers after being potty trained. There done with it never to go back to it. It's the same way we need to deal with those mountains in front of us. Let's give it to God let Him get us over it and then let's never go back to it again. God loves us so much that He's give us the knowledge and wisdom to demolish any mountain that stands in our way. We just have to listen and obey what He tells us to do. We also have to remember that even during a storm we need to rejoice and be happy. The Bible tells us to rejoice in the Lord always. That means good and bad. The Bible also says that God will never leave us. That means never. Which in tells that we always leave Him. The cool thing is. He's always there with open arms to welcome us back. Even if we do some stupid things. He's always there. The thing is the more we give our lives to God. The better off we are. You'll find out the more you give to God. That you'll be getting blessed more through out your life. Just look at Abraham, Moses, Issac and Jacob. They messed up a time or two. They did there own things. They always got back with God and did what He wanted them to do. All of them had more than enough. Let's get back what the devil has stolen. Let's give our burdens and mountains over to God and let Him take control of our lives.
