Where's your chair?

On Sunday my dad told me a story which I'm going to write to you. They had a guest speaker on Sunday at church that told them a story that happened to him. This man is a motivational speaker. He had spent 21 days oversees. In those 21 days he spoke 28 times. He said that all he wanted to do is sleep all the way back. The first plane he got on he said that the couple next to him fought the hole time. So when he landed he got first class tickets so he good have some sleep. When he got on the plane he had to crawl over the other person. He noticed that this person was a business man. Thinking to himself, he thought he would finally get some sleep. Before take off they did some small talk. The business man said he was on an executive board for media for a company, but he said he always wanted to be a motivational speaker. The man said he had missed it somewhere. The christian speaker no new he wasn't going to get any sleep. He told the man that he was a motivational speaker. Well after a long conversation. The other man told him he wasn't happy in what he was doing. That working a playboy. Yes playboy. He longed for a change. Well they got off a plane and the Executive asked the guys for a business card. So he gave him one and the executive said that he would give him a call so he could come and speak to the playboy board of directors. In my mind when I heard this I was amazed at what happened. But my heart was grieving. My spirit said he missed it. I wondered what that meant. So I prayed about it. See the christian was there to get him saved not just to talk. The guy was open to the word and the love of God. The christian blew it. He could have saved him from hell, but didn't. Got doesn't want us in our comfort zone or you could say our lazy boy. It's time to be outside the box and start doing what God has told us to do. Which is spreading the gospel to everyone. The one's we know and don't know. Chow

How strong is your FAITH?

This last Sunday someone told a story that got me thinking how strong my faith really is. He told a story that he and his family didn't have a lot of money because his business wasn't producing to much. Then he got a great bid on his product that was never so high before. Then God said I want you to keep this amount back do not sell them. So he obeyed. Well a little time had passed the fam needed some food and some money. Then God told him to give a away his first product. Just give it away!! It was between food and listening to God. He did what he was told and gave it away. Even though the circumstances in front of him or even his flesh was telling him he was crazy. It ends up because of his faith in God. God was able to bless him tremendously. All of his product has been sold really quick and God was able to be glorified through it all. This story got me thinking. Could I do that? Knowing that my family needs food or the bills that need to be paid. That took great faith to do this. It brings me back to the disciples. When they started off they left everything. When Jesus walked up to them and said follow Me. They did it. They left there businesses and families to go with Jesus who they barely knew. They were walking on faith from day one, and they probably didn't even know it. I've used my faith in different times. God told me to get rid of a car and I did. He blessed me with a different one. The only thing there was that we had another car to drive. The disciples and the story of the man above had nothing to back up on. They had to do it from total faith. Nothing less nothing more it was total faith. How strong is your faith? Do you have strong enough faith to do this. On Father's Day. I was sitting at an end of a dock on a lake. The wind was pretty strong so the dock was bouncing pretty good. I was praying and talking to God. Nothing more peaceful then listening to the wind and waves talking to God. Well said "do you remember the story about the disciples in the boat and the storm moved in while Jesus was asleep, so they awoke Jesus and Jesus calmed the storm". I said yes I do. Then He asked "what does it mean to you". I told him that the disciple some of whom were fisherman at one time. Where afraid for there lives, so the storm had to be pretty bad. So bad that they woke up Jesus. They knew that Jesus could do something from watching him preach. So they woke Him up and He rebuked the storm. God said there is more to that. He told me to go read the story and He would let me know more. So later I read the stories in Matthew, Mark, Luke. I was once told if there's a story or saying in the Bible more the twice the it's really important. So I read it again and again. I still couldn't see anything. So I told God that I couldn't see anything else. So this is what He told me. The boat is you, because Jesus is living inside of you. The storm and waves is the devil trying to confuse, scare, and drown you because he doesn't want you to move forward in life. This next statement he made got me. God said how often do you wake up Jesus. Wow. We all have the power and authority to calm any storm, but how many of us cry out to Jesus before even trying to use that power. We are so eager to ask Jesus for everything that we don't use our Faith. It's time that we let Him rest and we start doing our own work of Faith. Everyone have a great weekend. Chow

Back to Work

Well the conference was awesome. The first evening they did a birthday celebration for Mrs. Harrison(The boss of FCF). So they had people coming up and just letting her know what a blessing she was to them. Then this old man stepped up and with out saying any words the presence of God was just on the place. Inside of me my Spirit was dancing. Then he started to speak. He said he is a great friend of Hagin Sr. He had traveled and talked with him for many years. Then I new why the presence of God was so strong. If you never knew or met Hagin Sr. you would have wished you did. The presence of God on this man was strong. He was healed from a rare blood disease at a young age. Right after the healing he started preaching. He knew most of the bible by heart. It wasn't just the King James version but it was also the New King James, Amplified, and the Message. He could tell a hole chapter of Mathew without looking at his bible and not miss a word. Which was amazing! It still wasn't made him to have such a Godly presence. It was that he lived a life of Christ. I remember listening to him in school and the words that he spoke were so powerful that your spirit inside of you just kept on dancing. This man never I repeat never said one bad thing about anyone. Try doing that for a week or two. Even if the person put him down or said wrongful things about him. He said nothing bad but kind things about the individual. He said he had many times in his life to say hurtful things to someone, but that would be going against Gods word and he wasn't going to go against the word. I think we all can learn from the old gospel preachers that are now going home to the Lord. They all lived a life of purity in many ways. If you would take a business man in today's world and ask him who they look up to. Well they might say Donald Trump, or Bill Gates. How many of us Christians can actually say we look up to Christ. That we are truly striving to become like Him. Just looking at the old preachers. They were all striving to become like Christ. None of them were happy unless they were on that course. Today we need to take a stand against our flesh and the devil, and just say that we've had enough of them being in control. That from now on it's God's way or it's the high way. Is it going to be easy. Probably not! It wasn't easy walking the first time either. We'll get cuts and bruises on the way. Just like walking it finally came easy. Just like becoming like Christ. The flesh is going to battle, but the longer the battle the weaker it will become and the stronger your faith will be. Everyone have a blessed day. Chow.

It's nice to have good Friends

It sure is nice to have friends. Someone you can talk to about nothing and they still listen. Someone you can bring a favor or a prayer request and there right there to help out. We have to remember that Jesus was a friend to all. Even the worse sinners in the area. We also have to remember that we can't be to choosy on who we speak to. Jesus didn't. Just because someone is weird or even a little creepy or even if the person gets under your skin. Doesn't mean that you shouldn't talk to them. It's hard to witness to a person if you never talk to them or unkind to them. We are not part of this world. We need to love all, even though you might not think they deserve it. Our flesh loves to take control of our emotions. He wants us to be upset at someone or walk in unlove towards them. Why? Or sin nature hates doing what is in line with God's word. So the next time you get frustrated with someone or you try to hide from talking to them. Remember this God wants you to love them unconditionally. Everyone has the right to go to Heaven. I do want to say thank-you to Tom for helping out with the chicken questions. I forgot to say thanks last night I think. If you were wondering what we wrong with the chickens. Well let's just say the were plucking a couple of chicks were the sun don't shine. Needless to say. With his expertise the chicks are doing great. All is back to being happy in the chicken land. One cool thing is that the Turkey's are always happy to see me. They run to the door when I say hi. Makes a person feel wanted by animals. They make me feel like you are one of them. They even will seat on your feat while standing. Animals are funny. All I know as long as Tom is around I will do fine at my hobby farm with the chicks and turks. Everyone have a wonderful day and weekend. I will be gone for a week. I'll be frying in Oklahoma for a week. I'll be at a Bible Conference. Were I'll be getting ordained. Chow PJ

God is soooooo GOOD!

God is so good. The other day on the way home from work I was talking to God about somethings. One of those things was that I wanted some extra money for the chicks and turkeys. That way I have a budget started already for there food and supplies. I never prayed for it just asked Him like a son would to his father. Well yesterday at work I met some people for lunch. When I sat down to eat they handed me an envelope. When I opened the envelope there was a check in there for $500.00. I was pretty much standing beside myself. God is so great. He knew what my desire was and He met it above and beyond. Now the chicks and turkeys have a food account with money already in it. It's amazing how God works. He just keeps suppling over and over again. Never give up on talking to God or praying to Him. He hears every word that you say. As soon as you get done talking the answer is coming. You all have a great day. Chow.
